Text Box: EISENHOWER SCHOLARSHIP FUND
This scholarship fund was established in April, 1969, shortly after the death of Dwight D. Eisenhower, as a living memorial to this beloved leader. It is awarded annually to a local high school senior ROTC student. Presently, in the amount of $1,000.00, this scholarship is funded by contributions from interested persons as memorials or to mark special events.

BARBARA BUSH LITERACY PROJECT
Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy was launched March 6, 1989. The volunteer Board has awarded $3 million to libraries, community centers, housing projects, homeless shelters, schools, Indian Reservations and prisons across the nation. The mission is to develop family literacy with parents and children reading together.

MAMIE EISENHOWER LIBRARY PROJECT
Each year, to honor Mrs. Mamie Eisenhower books on political subject matter are selected, purchased and presented to the libraries of area schools.

DOROTHY KABIS MEMORIAL INTERNSHIP
This internship award is made annually by the National Federation of Republican Women to one individual front each state federation. A young college woman with a good knowledge of government and a keen interest in Republican politics is nominated for this month-long program. The selected intern has the opportunity to work at NFRW in Washington, D.C. to observe Republican leaders in Congress and to learn how the Republican National Committee and the NFRW interrelate.

NANCY REAGAN PATHFINDER SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) established the National Pathfinder Scholarship Fund in 1985, in honor of former First Lady Nancy Reagan's exemplary efforts in the prevention of drug and alcohol abuse. The annual scholarship of $2,500 is designed .for women presently studying in various fields relating to substance abuse.

BETTY RENDEL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
 This scholarship was named in honor of a former NFRW president. NFRW awards $1,000 annually
 to undergraduate Republican women majoring in political science, government or economics.
